Thank you for all your wonderful emails and comments saying how much you’ll miss me and the store. I will certainly miss seeing all of you on a regular basis. But we aren’t going far. We still live here, I just won’t be in the store. So many of you love the energy of the store, the way it smells, the relaxing music, and the space to stop, sit down and read a book or go through the magazines in the back room. I want you to know that you don’t need the store to do this for you. You can find a small space in your home to light a stick of incense, sit on a pillow or a comfortable chair, turn on some soothing music, turn down the lights and have a few minutes for yourself. Go outside and sit under a tree and listen to the birds sing. Your family can wait, the TV can wait, the laundry can wait, the phone can wait for just 5 minutes. Believe it or not, your mind doesn’t have to think of anything. You can read Rumi or imagine floating on the waves of the music. You can remember how peaceful you found my little store. Go back to that memory, that scent. I strongly urge you to claim just this little space of time for yourself a few times a week. Strive to keep your vibration high. Let go of negative, self-defeating thoughts. Listen to your own Spirit deep inside you. It will always love you and be truthful to you. Reclaim yourself. Much love to you all. K.

just stopping in to say hello and also that i SO VERY MUCH MISS YOU! i have no joyful place to go anymore when i hit jackson. (pouts). if you get around to the celtic festival, maybe i'll run into ya there? ~big hugs~
